Gracie Barra East Mesa Kids Competition Team

The Gracie Barra East Mesa Kids Competition Team started in late 2022, and in just a short time, we’ve made a huge impact in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. From day one, our mission has been to turn young athletes into confident, skilled competitors—and the results speak for themselves.

In just 1.5 years, our team has competed at some of the biggest tournaments, including Pan Kids, American Nationals, IBJJF Opens, Arizona State Championships, and CompNet. Along the way, we’ve achieved incredible milestones:

- 2 Pan Kids Titles and 1 Silver Medal
- 1 Nationals Title
- Multiple IBJJF Open Champions
- Multiple State Champions

‍But what makes us truly proud is seeing athletes who started with no prior experience go on to become #1 world-ranked in their divisions and win some of the toughest IBJJF tournaments out there.
